In the Beginning there was one land mass created. The flood of Noah added more water, thereby loosing some of the low lands and creating more rivers and lakes. Today this super continent is called Pangaea. According to the book of Jasher and other ancient history books the dividing of the continents started with the flood and continued with aftershocks going on as far as 340 years after the flood. The last great aftershock occurred just a few years after the fall of the tower of Babel.
