As a continuation of the history of the "Sons of God" and the origin of Demons we will continue to list what the scientific community is doing in the area of "genetic tampering":

In January of 2001 it was announced that this little Rhesus monkey was given a gene from a Jelly fish. In lower forms of life like mice this made the subject glow in the dark under certain conditions. Although "Andi" does not glow in the dark he does have the gene. Researchers are hopeful in a few years when he reaches maturity he too will begin to glow in the dark and pass this trait to his offspring (See January 22 edition of Time Magazine for the full story )

It is also interesting to note that although illegal in the USA, on January 23, 2001 England passed a law allowing medical experiments with cloned human fetuses.

The term Chimera was termed to define a genetically altered animal. In 1984 a geep was produced (cross between a goat and a sheep) and a chicken with a quails brain was developed shortly thereafter.

In August 2003, researchers at the Shanghai Second Medical University in China reported that they had successfully fused human skin cells and rabbit eggs to create the first human chimeric embryos. The embryos were allowed to develop for several days in a laboratory setting, then destroyed to harvest the resulting stem cells.
