• Encyclopedia Britannica reports the reign of Tiberius Caesar started on August 19, AD 14.
• Encyclopedia Britannica reports Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea from AD 26-36.
• Luke 2:1-2 says Jesus was born during the reign of Caesar Augustus (27 BC-AD 14), when the first census was taken by Quirinius*, governor of Syria.
• Luke 3:1 says Jesus was baptized and started his ministry in the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar, when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea.
• The first year of Tiberius was from August 19, 14 AD to August 19, AD 15, therefore the 15th year was from August 19, AD 28 to August 19, AD 29.
• If John baptized Jesus in to Ministry about the time of the Feast of Tabernacles, during the 15th year of Tiberius, this would have been September/October of AD 28.
• Daniels 70-Weeks Prophecy shows the Messiahs Death at Passover of AD 32.

John 4:35 has Jesus making the statement that it is 4 months until the harvest. The grain harvest is celebrated as the "Feast of Weeks." This occurs 50 days after Passover in May or June.

John 5:1 Shows a feast where an angel troubles the water and heals people. The Talmud records this to be a one of the miracles that used to occur during the Feast of Tabernacles. All the temple miracles ceased to occur about 40 years before the destruction of the Temple by the Romans. (This would have been about the time of Jesus death.)

*Quirinius became governor of Syria in AD 6. Luke mentions the first census Quirinius occurred during the birth of Jesus. Turtulian stated Quirinius delegated the taking of the first census to Gaius Sentius Saturninus, which dates about the same time and Herod the Great.
